Alfriston Camping Park A caravan plus camping park in Alfriston, has uniquely seperated fields; a Family field plus seperate fields for other groups. Family owned for over 20 years. ACP is very proud of their camping park, the service offered for couples, family units, DofE groups, Schools and others.

ACP does at least one Annual 'SPECIAL' event, The Faerie Festival, next on the 17th May to 19th May 2019. Last year was great fun for all, (including us at ACP). See our video section for details.

ACP also cater for other 'SPECIAL' events; like Birthdays, normally these do not require the whole site; it is possible however to have a separate field or even have an area roped off. Camping at ACP provides some of the best opportunities to take photos and show off some of the cool things you’re doing. Plus of course have some memorable fond moments to remember; share with friends in later years.

ACP has some gorgeous landscapes, mouth-watering places nearby to eat, fantastic places to visit, make some more great friends, meet some great staff and have a crazy adventure.

ACP is situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park in a historic, picture postcard village. Our privileged location affords stunning views and spectacular walking routes nearby; such as the famous Seven Sisters. (To See A Great View)

There really is something for everyone. Whether you like eating out in a typical country pub, of which there are many, or maybe taking a family stroll with your dog or simply visiting a local attraction.

Like the Airworks Paragliding Centre (a must for budding pilots and adrenaline junkies, there need never be a dull moment (Join Them If You Dare!)

Buzz Active in nearby Cuckmere, offers many activities, one being windsurfing, the purest form of sailing. They are a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) windsurfing training centre and offer a variety of coaching options for all levels and ages. (See their Many Offers!)

For those of a literary bent, Virginia Woolf's house is open to the public in nearby Rodmell; not to mention the historic town of Lewes; a mere few miles.

For opera lovers Glyndebourne festival opera is a 10 minute drive away, offering unmissable touring Opera treats (Glyndebourne Opera Website)

Local beaches are close by in Seaford (3-4 miles) and Eastbourne (10 miles), not to mention near by Newhaven, all of which enjoy a balmy, equable summer climate, ranked near the top of the U.K. sunshine league.

Beachy Head, just this side of Eastbourne (about 7 miles) is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to over 530 feet above sea level and offering commanding views along a considerable stretch of coast. On the campsite itself there is free use of tennis courts, a chance, perhaps, to have some fun 'at home' while keeping an eye on the kids. There is plenty of room for the kids to play in a friendly, safe environment. A great chance to meet new friendly people, just like you, with a similar outlook.

A game like Chinese whispers is always great fun round the campfire while enjoying some food, a few jokes plus a chat with family / friends, Kids love it as well. We have always had grateful customers who visit us many times, some in the same year.
